We are an online gaming clan, who focus on providing a fair and challenging tactical gaming environment for mature gamers that enjoy a more discerning environment. LOoL Tactical Realism/No RNG Mod. After working with the AWE mod and to some extend struggling with lack of access to key functional areas, we are now committed to building a Tactical version of the eXtreme X4 mod, based upon version 2.0 of this mod. the reason we are so committed and have changed direction is primarily due to the open source stance of the eXtreme Crew.
Why use a mod?
Well... Why not... lol.. seriously, the mod is designed to enhance the gameplay and the server environment, and the key issue for me as a server admin, is when I join our server I don't want to spend my time telling players what they can and cannot do, so X4 2.0 TR has the modded server admin these gameplay rules for you.. Obvioudly we cannot admin everything, like foul language on ingame chat, but if we can do it we will...
What does X4 2.0 TR offer to your clan? The eXtreme mod has many function areas and caters to many different game types, so if you like to run Tactical/No RNG but would also like to have a snipe only map in your rotation, well X4 offers that ability by providing the same set of tools used by PST (Pacific Sniper Team) servers, one of the leading sniper clans out there. So not only can you "do" TR and NoRNG but you have name, name more options and tools available to customize your server... take a look at www.mycallofduty.com.
This all said, one of the doctrines of the eXtreme Crew is server admin driven configuration, so every option that can be realistically provided as an option is. End result the admin and the clan have ultimate control over thier server and the gameplay.
What does X4 TR Mod Offer? <
As all good Tactical server admins know the key to a good TR/NoRNG server is it's "look and Feel", i know this sounds fuzzy but that is the best description. The point in TR is realisim, and NoRNG is just part of that... This said all TR and NoRNG clans definitely do not agree with each other on the specifics of the gamplay. This being the case, X4 offers ultimate control over every option, the list of specific TR options is below....
Progressive Run Monitor This is designed to limit running in a more realistic way, it prevents the exploit available in most run limiters, which is allow Run, Stop, Run, Stop and if you know the approx distance you can run/stop all day without a problem, and requiring Admini intervention. What X4 has stops this by forcing distance and recovery (all customizable), couple this with escalating punishments, now you can allow the server to manage your anit run and you can play.
Hip Shot Monitor
The hip shot monitor allows you to in someway punish a player who shoots from the hip, In most TR servers hip shooting is allowed in certain situations, like surprised by an enemy etc. So the hip shot monitor allows this, more recently we have added the option to hip shot punish based on how close enemy is to you and if they are in front of you.. this means what if you hip soot enemy more than say 20feet away you get punished differently than if they are within 20feet. Clearly destinguishing between spray and hope players and TR player surprised by an enemy.
Who is Talking This mod allows you to see a the player name(s) when friendly players use ingame viop.
Aim at Name This mod will clearly identify friendle player by thier name when you sight on them. Even when partially obscured.
Moveable Minimap The server admin can place the mini-map anywhere on the hud... great for TR
Cleaner Hud We have provided options to remove every hud element so you can have a completely clean hud.
More.... We are adding more and more options to allow TR clans build the exact gaming environment they want....
How to report bugs and change requests To report a bug or request a change to the X4v2.0 Beta version, look at the "Report Bugs and Enhancements" section below, and click on the number of requested alongside the mod that you want to report the issue about. then on the following screen click on the "submit a request" option, alternatively, log a request on our forum.
